The Island of Bisentina, a former summer papal residence, is one of the precious pearls of the artistic patrimony of the Italian Renaissance, and the Island of Martana as well.In the early years of the 1980s and after centuries of abandonment, the owners of Bisentina began an intense work of restoration as to return the island to the private and public enjoyment with cultural and naturalistic excursions, concerts and valuable plays. But the work of recovering the ancient splendour has been recently interrupted. |
